The Coalition to Protect Senior Care represents a broad array of clinicians and caregiver groups who are dedicated to protecting the highest-quality skilled nursing care upon which the vast majority of America's three million Medicare beneficiaries depend.

The Coalition launched at a Capitol Hill press conference on November 1, 2007, to an audience of Congressional staff, media, patient care advocates and other supporters. Through briefing events, media outreach and other grassroots activities, its members continue to work together to alert and educate seniors, caregivers and elected officials nationwide that funding cuts to seniors' Medicare Part A nursing home benefit would endanger the quality of care and quality of life of America's frail, elderly and disabled citizens dependent upon skilled nursing care.
